Data Affirm Small Benefit for Early Mammography
Damn straight. My personal experience has been repeat visits for calcifications. It felt like a giant waste especially in terms of stress and worry and additional unneccesary radiation. Look at your real risk factors - then decide if after 40 or after 50 is right for you. I’m not planning on another mammogram for at least five years, but will continue BSE monthly instead.
