Conversely, nearly every doctor and free clinic in the States pushes pap tests on every woman of at least child bearing age from her first appointment on, once a year. Are we getting too many colposcopies as a result? I’m not sure, but if there is an age at when to start, shouldn’t it be tied to first sexual activity, not calendar age?

I am struck by the fact that after being wrongly imprisoned at 19, the first plan was to go back to school.  Get right back  on the same track.  Seems  like a paragon of both optimism and faith that  after what he has been through, the ideals of our society, such as our reverence for education,  are still worth reaching for.
